Chapter Six

Carol let her go after that. Not immediately. They’d talked about the show she picked out, and the one Carol had started earlier that night. But first, she let her get dressed again. She’d earned her release. And they talked about what they’d do when things got back to normal – the first thing they’d do together, and so. Carol had stayed on the phone while she made and ate her dinner. Then, she had to go to bed. And with an I love you, she hung up the call.

Holly yawned her way through the first episode of the show, and fell asleep during the second. It was no reflection on the show itself, or her interest in it. She was just beat.

Sometime around midnight, she woke up, stiffer and colder than she should have been, and dragged herself into bed. She slept soundly until her alarm woke her the next day.

She was tired all day, but the idea of date night woke her right up as afternoon rolled around. Carol mentioned that she’d send further instructions after five. Holly started to wonder what it might be. She hoped it wouldn’t be another round with the wand belt. She wasn’t sure she could take that.

Then again, Carol seemed to have a pretty good read on what she could and couldn’t take. The other woman always had, hadn’t she?

So the more she thought about it, the more excited she got. When half after four rolled around, she cut away from her computer to duck into the bedroom. She’d prepared twelve days of lingerie for the twelve days of Christmas, hadn’t she? And right now, they were going to have to wait for – well, who knew when.

Why not today?

She went through her stash: the silver and blue winter pieces, the red and white slutty Santa get-up, the strappy red and silver piece, the silver body chains and red lace…she’d picked each piece with probably as much thought and precision as Carol had picked the toys. She’d been thinking of sweet kisses and long, gentle caresses when she chose the sultry, shimmering light blue and snowflakes gown-like ensemble. She’d been thinking of cuffs and the flogger when she chose the body chain and lace set.

And she’d been thinking of somewhere right between the two when she picked a pushup shimmering red bra with silver snowflake accents, and matching panties.

She picked that now – just naughty enough, she hoped, to raise Carol’s temperature, but not too naughty to get overworked body into any trouble.

She slipped the lingerie on. The set looked amazing, but the bra in particular did wonderful things for her. Her tits looked fuller and perkier than they had in five years. She smiled at that, and put her work clothes on over the ensemble. She left two buttons open – just enough to give her girlfriend a glimpse of that well-articulated cleavage.

The last half hour of the day dragged, but, finally, it was over. Her phone buzzed with an incoming video call and, a little surprised at the change in procedure, Holly picked up.
